Lynn Roberts is the head of the Croydon Office and Senior Supervising Solicitor, Duty Solicitor and Higher Courts Advocate in the Criminal Defence Team.
Lynn has dedicated her professional career to representing clients at every stage of the criminal process from the Police Station through to trial. Lynn has demonstrated a flair and unrivalled commitment to work in the best interest of her clients and fearlessly advance their case. Joining GT Stewart Solicitors in 2003 as a paralegal, Lynn demonstrated a talent for criminal practice and swiftly obtained a Training Contract. Under the supervision of Melanie Krudy and Greg Stewart Lynn qualified and began to focus on Youth Justice developing the skills that practitioners require when representing young people. Lynn specialised in this area and became the Head of one of the Youth Court teams frequently representing young defendants at trial. Lynn was appointed Head of the Croydon Crime Team in 2010.
Lynn has a wealth of experience in Youth and Magistrates’ Court cases and has an solid practice in Crown Court cases. She has been the lead litigator in high profile Murder cases, Importation of Class A Drugs and serious Sexual Offences involving vulnerable witnesses, complainants and defendants. Approachable and practical in her client care, Lynn is repeatedly instructed and receives many referrals. Lynn regularly attends police stations, Croydon, Crawley and Horsham Magistrates’ Courts and Croydon Crown Court.
