Gabriella joined GT Stewart in January 2026 as a Pupil Barrister. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a Trainee Legal Adviser with HM Courts & Tribunals Service, where she advised magistrates on sentencing, evidence, and points of law. She conducted detailed legal research, drafted court documents, supported hearings, and ensured procedural accuracy throughout proceedings.
Before this, Gabriella worked as a Contracts Adviser at a national scientific research organisation. In that role, she drafted and negotiated complex commercial contracts and advised senior management on legal risk, disputes, and intellectual property matters.
Gabriella also has experience in financial regulation. She worked as a Compliance and Financial Crime Officer within the financial services sector, advising on regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering matters, and policy development.

Gabriella has undertaken criminal mini-pupillages, gaining exposure to a range of hearings and trials. She has a strong interest in advocacy and competed in the VIS Moot during her academic studies.
Outside of her legal interest, she has worked as a drama coach, is an avid reader and enjoys travelling.
