Sarina joined GT Stewart’s Civil Liberties team as a Paralegal in 2025.
She developed a strong interest in public international law and human rights during her undergraduate law studies and went on to complete an LLM in International Law, having specialised in international human rights, humanitarian, and criminal law, as well as migration and refugee law.
Sarina has worked with the United Nations and several NGOs on matters including investigations into war crimes and genocide, the rights of refugees and stateless persons, and broader human rights advocacy.
She is particularly committed to access to justice, the protection of vulnerable groups, and state accountability.

Notable Experience or Interests outside of Law
Sarina is a self‑proclaimed foodie who loves discovering new restaurants. She enjoys playing badminton and volleyball, and likes attending live sports matches (her favourite match to date is Federer vs. Djokovic on the ATP Tour). She also enjoys playing the drums and going to concerts (with Oasis being her top concert experience so far).
