Profile

Adrian qualified as a Barrister in 1993 and later became dual qualified as a Solicitor. He went on to become a Partner at a leading Kent solicitors firm and latterly a national criminal law firm. He has also gained experience as a District Crown Prosecutor.

Adrian joined GTStewart in January 2025 bringing extensive experience across many levels of the criminal justice system. He offers tenacity with a calming presence as an advocate, always seeking the best outcome for his clients.

For the most part, Adrian concentrates on serious and complex cases with a particular interest in those involving the welfare of children and young people.

Notable Experience and Interests Outside of Law

Over the years, Adrian has been involved in numerous community projects involving children, young people and music. Adrian is a keen musician and enjoys attending concerts and performances especially at Ronnie Scott’s in London. He also enjoys art and visiting historic Cathedrals.

He also enjoys fitness, including dog-walking and spending time on the Isle of Wight.

R v OA [2025] Woolwich CC – two defendant case involving drug supply.

R v MM [2025] Woolwich CC – three-defendant case involving conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

R v RG [2024] Maidstone CC – two defendant case involving a husband and wife accused of murdering their two-year-old adopted child, against a background of child cruelty.

R v KH [2023] Canterbury CC – four defendant case involving allegations of murder, manslaughter and perverting the course of justice.
