Helen is a very experienced family law specialist having been admitted as a solicitor in 1983. Helen joined Eskinazi & Co as a consultant in 2012 and moved across to GT Stewart Solicitors when the firm was incorporated.
Helen specialises in representing children and parents in public law proceedings including care and special guardianship and adoption and has undertaken complex cases including non-accidental injury and sexual abuse and representing teenagers where a conflict of interest has arisen. She receives referrals from Guardians and other professionals. Helen is an experienced and confident advocate undertaking advocacy on her cases most of the time.
Helen has also wide experience in private law matters and has represented Rule 16.4 Guardian when she has undertaken her own advocacy.
Helen has been on the Law Society Children Panel since 1996.
