Elizabeth completed the LPC at Sheffield University obtaining a commendation Diploma in Legal Practice in 2002. She went on to train and qualify as a solicitor (admitted 2004) in South Yorkshire and specialised in criminal defence work upon qualification. She is an accredited police station advisor and a qualified Duty Solicitor. She has spent the whole of her career in Criminal Defence work.
Elizabeth spent many years working in a busy crime-only practice in Sheffield city centre and gained experience in all types of matters from Road Traffic to Murder. She conducts all types of Magistrates Court advocacy from the first appearance to sentence. She also litigates in Crown Court matters and has a particular skill in representing clients in the Youth Court.
