Jake Joins GT Stewart Solicitors as a caseworker whilst he works towards cross qualifying in England & Wales.

Jake has over two years of experience at Australian Family Lawyers (“AFL”), Australia’s largest growing family law firm. During the time at AFL, Jake started as a law graduate until he was admitted and progressed to a solicitor role within the firm and, worked extensively with the Queensland Head of Family Law, including but not limited to complex property settlements, contentious and non-contentious parenting matters, and binding financial agreements (pre and post).

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (with honours) from Griffith University, Gold Coast
• Admission as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland (20 September 2021)

Personal Interests

Experience: Complex property settlement matters, parenting matters, binding financial agreements (pre and post cohabitation, pre and post marriage), divorce, domestic violence and child support agreements.

Interests outside of law: readings, socialising with friends, travelling, drawing
