Elizabeth completed the LPC at Sheffield University obtaining a commendation Diploma in Legal Practice in 2002. She went on to train and qualify as a solicitor (admitted 2004) in South Yorkshire and specialised in criminal defence work upon qualification. She is an accredited police station advisor and a qualified duty solicitor. She has spent the whole of her career in Criminal Defence work.
Elizabeth spent many years working in a busy crime only practice in Sheffield city centre and gained experience in all types of matters from Road Traffic to Murder. She conducts all types of Magistrates Court advocacy from the first appearance to sentence. She also litigates in Crown Court matters.
In South Yorkshire, Elizabeth, concentrated on assisting youths before the Youth Court and was a regular Youth Court user committee attender by invitation. Over the last few years Elizabeth’s interest has been upon police station representation and she has attended with clients at Police/Trading Standards/DWP/BTP interviews all over Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, the midlands and the North.
