1. Is changing conveyancer possible during the sale or purchase process?
GT Stewart's Residential Property team was contacted by a local couple who had been trying to sell their home through another firm of solicitors for several months.
2. Creating a right of way to a property or land?
A private right of way allows someone to pass and re-pass by foot and/or in a vehicle across land owned by someone else. GT Stewart's Residential Property team was instructed by a local resident to sell his house, which had its own parking space to the rear. Investigations revealed that there was in fact no legal right of way to the parking space.
