
We are pleased to congratulate our nominees for the Kent Law Society Awards 2026!
Ashley Smith is a Caseworker in our Canterbury office and has been nominated for the Pillar of Justice Award. Ashley brings over 10 years’ experience in child protection and family law. She plays a key role in assisting Ryan Booth across a wide range of complex family matters. She is known for her attention to detail and her contribution to the team has been described as “invaluable”. Ashley is a trusted and integral member of the team, consistently providing high-quality support to both colleagues and clients.
Ellie Howarth is a Paralegal in our Margate office and has been nominated for the Heart of the Community Award. Ellie has experience working on both Private Law and Public Law Children Act proceedings, as well as matters involving protective orders for survivors of domestic abuse. She is also actively involved in Rising Sun Domestic Abuse drop-in sessions in Canterbury and Herne Bay, where she supports attendees in accessing legal advice.
These nominations reflect the dedication Ashley and Ellie bring to their roles and the impact of the work they do every day. Congratulations to both Ashley and Ellie!
