GT Stewart represented CC who had been charged with domestic violence against his long term partner who alleged that he had bitten her and kneed her in the eye socket. On the day of the trial the prosecution applied to adjourn the trial as the complainant had failed to attend court. The prosecution also served evidence of violence against our client by the complainant. The District Judge refused the application and the prosecution were forced to offer no evidence and a not guilty verdict recorded.
Criminal trial can be complex and have long term consequences if you are convicted. You will need a lawyer who can provide high quality advice and advocacy to ensure the best outcome.
