Client Found Not Guilty After Trial web

GTS today secured verdicts of not guilty following a trial at Wood Green Crown Court.

FC faced five charges namely two counts of rape and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentional strangulation and controlling and coercive behaviour.

All allegations were reported by FC’s former partner. It was alleged FC controlled her movements and relationships with her friends, assaulted and strangled her during an argument and raped her on two occasions. As part of the prosecution case, several audio recordings were served in which FC was said to have confessed to rape.

Following a trial lasting five days, the jury returned verdicts of not guilty in relation to all counts.
