PC, instructed in-house Barrister, Ronnie Manek Head of Advocacy and Partner, to represent him in a sensitive case involving serious allegations, which spanned over two separate allegations in 2013 and 2020-2021. PC, pleaded guilty to the offences charged at the Medway Magistrates Court and was sentenced by the Maidstone Crown Court on 12th May 2023. The sentence attracted nationwide media reports due to PC being a former MP of Gillingham, Kent. PC, became the first Labour MP for the Kent constituency, overturning a Conservative majority in the 1997 election. He was immediately made a junior minister in Tony Blair’s government, working as a parliamentary private secretary for a number of cabinet ministers at the time including John Prescott and Ed Balls. PC, was represented by Director and Partner, Gregory Stewart who specialises in high profile cases, assisted by Supervising Case Worker, Kevin Williams.
