Lorry driver acquitted after trial of being concerned in importing 1.6 million of cocaine web

GW, stood trial at Canterbury Crown Court facing two counts of importing a total of 300 kilos of cocaine and heroin with a street value of £20m. GW, a Polish lorry driver was found with 16 separate boxes and sealed packages containing drugs in the back of his trailer when stopped at Dover on 2 April 2023. After 4 days of trial, the jury returned unanimous verdicts in just over an hour of deliberations.
