Simran joined GT Stewart in July 2026 as a Paralegal in the Criminal Defence team at the firm's Birmingham office.
Prior to joining the firm, Simran worked as a Family Law Paralegal, where she gained valuable hands-on experience supporting solicitors with legal drafting, case preparation, court bundles, client liaison, and file management.
Through this role, she developed a strong understanding of court procedures and the progression of legal matters, whilst providing professional and compassionate support to clients.
With a proactive approach to professional development, Simran is always keen to expand her legal expertise, embrace new challenges, and further strengthen her practical experience. She takes pride in providing a professional, approachable, and supportive service, ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout their legal matter.
Education and Qualifications
Simran completed her LLB Law (Hons) at De Montfort University in 2025. During her legal studies, Simran developed her advocacy, communication, and practical legal skills through advocacy training at No5 Barristers’ Chambers, a mini-pupillage with a Family Law Barrister, participation in a Mock Child Protection Hearing, and legal work experience placements.
Notable Experience and Interests Outside of Law
Outside of work, Simran enjoys baking and experimenting with new recipes and baked goods. She also enjoys exploring new places and experiences, whether through trying new activities or spending time outdoors on long walks and hikes.
