Shyanne-Sarah Ennis joined GT Stewart Solicitors & Advocates in July 2026 as a Youth Crime Paralegal in the Criminal Defence department. 

She is passionate about ensuring that children and young people receive high-quality legal representation and compassionate support throughout the criminal justice process. 

Prior to joining GT Stewart, Shyanne-Sarah worked as a Criminal Defence Paralegal, assisting solicitors on a wide range of Crown Court matters from first appearance through to trial and sentencing. 

During this time, she gained experience preparing cases involving murder, rape, fraud, serious violence, sexual offences and child cruelty. She regularly drafted legal documents, prepared instructions to counsel, liaised with clients, counsel and third parties, and assisted with case preparation to support the effective progression of complex criminal matters. 

At GT Stewart, Shyanne-Sarah now works predominantly on Youth Court matters, bringing experience across both the Crown Court and Youth Court. She has a particular interest in youth justice and is committed to providing clear, practical and empathetic support to children, young people and their families throughout criminal proceedings.

Education and Qualifications

Shyanne-Sarah graduated from De Montfort University with an LLB in Law with Criminal Justice in 2021. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in criminal law and criminal justice, which has continued throughout her legal career.

Interests Outside of Law

Outside of work, Shyanne-Sarah enjoys reading and has a particular interest in criminal justice and legal developments. She also enjoys organising fundraising and community events.

She has a strong interest in community engagement and has previously volunteered within her local community, including supporting those affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy and participating in initiatives to support people experiencing homelessness.
