Rifaat is a dual-qualified lawyer and an accredited police station representative.
He initially joined GT Stewart in 2015 before qualifying as a Barrister and Solicitor in Canada in 2022.
He returned to the firm in 2023 and has since cross-qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales. Rifaat has experience in both criminal defence and immigration law.
His immigration experience includes working with asylum seekers and matters involving refugee law.
As part of his criminal defence practice, Rifaat represents clients at the police station and assists clients across a broad range of criminal matters.
