Peter joined GT Stewart’s Criminal Defence department in Leeds in March 2026.
His first role following his law conversion was as a paralegal at the East London criminal firm Sonn MacMillan Walker. In this position, he assisted solicitors and barristers in fraud matters, including involvement in a high-level VAT fraud case at Southwark Crown Court.
He then worked as a County Court Advocate for the Southern England Law Centre, where he represented defendants in possession proceedings and initiated judicial review challenges of local authority housing decisions.
Prior to joining GT Stewart, Peter worked as a Business Support Officer within the Children and Families Department at Portsmouth City Council. In this role, he helped coordinate strategy meetings between police and social services in relation to children in the city’s care.
