Jayati Sood is a Crime Paralegal at GT Stewart. Jayati completed her LLB Hons at the University of Kent with experience in pro bono legal work, in-house legal practice, client contact and education. 

Through Kent Law Clinic and Bank Leumi, she has gained exposure to client-focused casework and commercial legal environments. Her developing areas of expertise include mediation, negotiation and client interviewing. She was named Best Individual Mediator in a student mediation competition and also works as a mediation trainer.

 Jayati brings strong communication, organisational and cross-cultural skills to her work.

LLB (Hons) Law with Spanish with a Year Abroad, University of Kent, 2022-present 

A-Levels in Economics, English Language and Literature and Spanish, Nower Hill High School, 2022 

Notable Experience or Interests outside of Law

Outside law, Jayati has worked as a Senior Activity Leader at an international summer school, a University of Kent Student Ambassador and an online tutor in English, Spanish and Economics. 

She has also supported younger pupils in the English Department at Nower Hill High School and organised a charity fundraising event for an orphanage in Moscow. She speaks Spanish at B2 level, is proficient in Russian and has conversational Hindi and Punjabi.
