Emma joined GT Stewart as a Paralegal in our Family & Childcare Department.
Before joining, Emma gained extensive experience of family law through judicial marshalling at courts across the country, shadowing Circuit and District Judges in a broad range of proceedings. These included cases concerning domestic abuse, private and public children law, financial remedies, international child abduction and deprivation of liberty.
Emma has also undertaken mini-pupillages in both family and civil law.
Alongside her postgraduate studies, she worked as a Visiting Lecturer at City, teaching Employment Law to final-year LLB students

Notable Experience or Interests Outside of Law
Outside of work, Emma volunteers with Coram Family Lives, providing information and support to adults and young people on a range of family matters. She is also a keen hiker and long-distance runner, and is taking part in the 2026 Amsterdam Marathon.
