Profile
Based on my experience, I believe I would excel in criminal law and family law. During my time at Ruane & Co. Solicitors and Michael Kelleher Solicitors, I gained hands-on experience in criminal law, particularly in defense and legal aid cases, working on complex matters such as property disputes, grievous bodily harm, and sexual abuse cases.
I developed key skills in conducting detailed legal research, preparing court documents, and assisting during trials. Additionally, my role at Little Learners allowed me to build strong organizational and interpersonal skills while working with children and families, which has given me a unique perspective and makes me well-suited for family law, particularly in cases involving child advocacy and sensitive family matters.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Joint Honours Law and Media.
Notable Experiences or Interests outside of Law:
I have a strong passion for sports, especially Gaelic games, which have been a cornerstone of my life. As a dual player in both Camogie (Ladies Hurling) and Gaelic Football. I have a deep passion for sports, particularly enjoying the excitement of watching Ireland compete. Additionally, I have a strong appreciation for music and enjoy attending concerts to experience live performances.
Notable Cases:
I have no notable cases of my own that I have worked on as I am early in my career, however here are a list of cases I’ve found fascinating during my studies:
- Donoghue v. Stevenson (1932)
- Carlill v. Carbolic Smoke Ball Co (1893)
- R v. Dudley and Stephens (1884)
- R v. R (1991)
