Ben Ashdown is a postgraduate law graduate from Canterbury Christ Church University, holding an LLB in Law. He joined GT Stewart in June 2026 as a Paralegal within the Family Law team.

Ben has undertaken over 100 hours of volunteering through the CLOCK scheme, supporting litigants in person in family court proceedings, and has also gained experience in judicial marshalling in the Family Court. These experiences have given him a strong understanding of court processes and reinforced his interest in family law.

Ben was drawn to family law by the opportunity to support people through some of the most challenging periods of their lives. He is committed to helping clients navigate complex and often emotional situations and strives to make a positive difference through the work he undertakes. He brings this approach to his role supporting solicitors in a wide range of family law matters.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys rugby and has over a decade of playing experience, including representing both his club and Kent County.
