GTS today secured the acquittal for a client charged with wounding with intent.
The client was alleged to have assaulted the complainant by slashing her to the face with a knife. The allegation was strongly denied, with the client stating he was maliciously targeted by the complainant and her family.
Following a trial at Birmingham Crown Court lasting four days, the client was acquitted by the jury.
The client was represented by Kevin Williams at our City of London office, and by Andrew Kerr of 33 Bedford Row Chambers at trial.
