LL stood trial alongside another male, who was also accused of sexually assaulting one of the females that had made an allegation against LL. In-house counsel, Jodie Mole, represented LL at trial and Helen Ricks was the instructed solicitor in the case.
LL was unanimously acquitted after trial of the three counts against him. His co-defendant was acquitted of one count, after the Judge had given a majority verdict direction, but the jury could not agree on the remaining two counts against him.
