GTS today secured the acquittal of our client BA who stood trial at the Nightingale Court.
BA faced one count of sexual assault of a female under 16. It was alleged he sexually assaulted one of his pupils whilst teaching her at the home address. BA had already been acquitted of several similar counts at his initial trial in 2021.
Had BA been convicted, he would have received a lengthy prison sentence and been prevented from teaching for life.
Having considered all of the evidence, the jury unanimously acquitted BA of the final count.
