We took on this case after the tenant’s relationship broke down with her previous solicitor.  We managed to rebuild trust, and to get our client a settlement minutes before trial, which gave her substantially reduced rent arrears, to be paid back in very small sums, and a new property, a house with a garden, where she could care for her daughter and rebuild her life.

The client had moved out of her last place after it got damp and mould throughout, not realising she would then get into rent arrears as no benefits would be paid.  At the time of proceedings, she regained full custody of her daughter who had been removed from her ex’s care due to sexual abuse.
