We represented a vulnerable young adult who had been charged with perverting the course of justice. It was the Crown’s case that our client had assisted in the disposal of a vehicle that had been used in a murder. The Crown relied on extensive telephone evidence, CCTV evidence as well as material from our client’s phone to support their case. Following an 11 week trial, our client was found not guilty by the jury.
Our client was represented by Sabrina Neves, a solicitor in our Croydon Crime Team, assisted by Denika Swack, and in Court by our in house barrister, Jodie Mole. At the police station our client was represented by Senior Police Station Representative, James Smith.
