GTS today secured unanimous acquittals for our client J following a trial at Bulford Military Court.
J faced three charges – two of sexual assault and one of exposure. It was alleged he sexually assaulted a fellow Private on two separate occasions and exposed his penis.
Several prosecution witnesses gave evidence on the complainant’s behalf all of whom claimed to have witnessed the incidents.
Following a trial lasting three days, J was unanimously acquitted by the Board of all counts. Had he been convicted of any of the counts, he would have faced a period in military detention and his career in the British Army would have been terminated.
