Confiscation Proceedings commence when the Prosecution try to recover the financial proceedings made from criminal activity.
The Prosecution alleged that our client’s financial benefit from his criminal activity was over £100,000. We were able to successfully rebut many of the Crown’s assertions and the Defendant’s benefit figure was agreed at less than £40,000. This reduction of over £60,000 allowed our client to keep his house.
