Indiya Kainth joined GT Stewart in 2025. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2023 and has worked in Family Law since 2019. Indiya represents parents and family members in both private and public law matters, including Pre-Proceedings, Care Proceedings, Child Arrangement Order proceedings and Non-Molestation Order matters. She has acted for parents in cases where the local authority has made an application to remove a child from their care and in matters where the local authority seeks to place a child for adoption.

She deals with a wide range of cases, including disputes about where a child should live and with whom they should spend time. Indiya has represented parents in matters involving domestic abuse, substance misuse and sexual abuse, and has worked with extremely vulnerable parents, including those facing language barriers, limited resources or difficulty understanding Court processes and procedures.

  • Re L – Representation of a mother in Care Proceedings with issues of significant substance misuse.
