
Recently, Thea Grattidge, Luke Sheldon and Claire Wiles from our Housing team contributed to the new guidance published by Impact on Urban Health: “Meeting the needs of neurodivergent children living in temporary accommodation.”
This guidance is designed to support families, legal professionals, councils and other services that work with people experiencing temporary accommodation who have neurodivergent children. It provides legal guidance and promotes policy and practice that will ensure every child’s stay in temporary accommodation is safe, healthy and as short as possible.
Thank you to Thea and Luke who led on drafting sections 3 and 4, which set out good practice guidance for councils, and practical tips for families experiencing homelessness.
