Non-Accidental Injury fractures were alleged to have been caused by the parents. The Court made no Threshold Findings at all against the parents, completely exonerating them. Their child was returned immediately after the conclusion of the Fact-Finding Hearing.

The case highlighted the importance of the need to cross examine treating medical professionals in certain situations, and obtaining all disclosure; this shed light upon failings by the hospital in communicating key information during the initial admission to A&E, ultimately leading to the care proceedings being issued and the removal of the parents’ baby.
