Taylor-Jay joined GT Stewart as a Paralegal in the Crime department in 2024. She brings three years of experience in Criminal Defence, having worked at two Criminal Defence firms since leaving college.

At PRHS Solicitors, she worked in the Police Station and Magistrates Court team. At The Johnson Partnership Solicitors, she was part of the Crown Court department, primarily clerking at Sheffield Crown Court. During this time, she was undertaking the Solicitor Apprenticeship with BBP University.

Taylor-Jay also has six months of experience as a Family Law Paralegal at Milners Solicitors in Leeds.

Education & Qualifications:

• 12 GCSEs
• A Levels – Sociology (A), English Language (A), Law (A)
• Paralegal qualification – BPP University (Level 4)

Memberships & Accreditations:

Taylor-Jay is currently resuming studies towards the Police Station Accreditation and aims to complete the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship, with the goal of qualifying upon the successful completion of SQE1 and SQE2.
