Simi Chaggar joined GT Stewart in 2025 as a Paralegal in our Family & Childcare Department. She works closely with solicitors on a wide range of family law and childcare matters, with particular experience in child protection proceedings.

Simi has extensive experience assisting on cases involving parents and family members engaged in child protection matters, both within court proceedings and during the pre-proceedings process. She plays an important role in the preparation and progression of cases, including drafting legal documents, preparing court bundles, managing case materials, and liaising with local authorities and other professionals under solicitor supervision.

She has also supported solicitors on cases where children are represented through their Court-appointed Children’s Guardians. Through this work, Simi has developed a strong understanding of the sensitive nature of family court proceedings.

With strong case management and legal administration skills, Simi helps ensure that matters are progressed efficiently and that documentation is prepared accurately and on time. She works collaboratively with solicitors, counsel, and external agencies to assist in delivering thorough and well-prepared cases.

Outside of her professional work, Simi enjoys exploring good food, dancing, and expressing her creativity through intricate henna designs.
