Ellie is a family paralegal assisting in matters dealing with public childcare law, specifically concerning parents and children within care proceedings.

Ellie graduated from The University of Law, Leeds, in November 2022 with a first class honours degree.

Prior to starting her degree, Ellie worked as a legal assistant supporting fee earners in the conveyancing department at Williams & Co Solicitors. Before joining GT Stewart Solicitors, Ellie worked as a Regulatory Paralegal at Capsticks Solicitors, where she carried out fitness to practice investigations into Social Workers on behalf of Social Work England. This involved liaising with the local authority to obtain disclosure, interviewing witnesses and drafting witness statements.

Ellie’s ultimate ambition is to qualify as a Solicitor, specialising in family law matters.
