GT Stewart’s Leeds office acted for H whose case was before Leeds Crown Court for an offence of Handling Stolen Goods.
After a careful analysis of the evidence, Philip Mahoney submitted a persuasive application to dismiss the case against our client on the basis that the Prosecution did not have sufficient evidence to secure a conviction. The Prosecution did not oppose this application and the Crown was persuaded to offer no evidence against our client. This resulted in a Not Guilty verdict being returned.
