Our client faced one count of assault emergency worker following an altercation which took place in prison. Our client is a serving prisoner and will not be released until 2033. Following representations made regarding the public interest in this prosecution, the Crown agreed to offer no evidence against our client and a verdict of not guilty was recorded. The effects on this decision may have impacted our clients parole decision, highlighting the importance of these representations.
