The Crown offered no evidence against our client in Leeds Crown Court following further analysis of a sample which had previously been described as ‘testing positive for cocaine’. Our client was charged with possession with intent to supply a class A drugs following a raid on the home she shared with her partner and co-defendant. The Crown alleged that cocaine was flushed down the toilet as the police entered the home. At PTPH stage the defence said what was found in the toilet was plant fertilizer not cocaine. The Prosecution told the court that they were waiting on further tests to be completed and the case was set down for trial. Further tests confirmed that the defence was correct and no class A drugs were found in the toilet.
The Crown offered no evidence against our client and her good character remained intact.
