Rebecca Hooker joined GT Stewart in August 2025 as a Paralegal in the Criminal Defence team. She initially joined the firm as a work experience student, observing a variety of proceedings, including youth court hearings, and gaining insight into court procedures, client support, and the collaborative work of legal professionals.

Her placement strengthened her interest in pursuing a Paralegal career and allowed her to develop key skills, including legal research, document drafting, case management, and effective client communication. She is particularly motivated by the practical impact that legal work can have on people’s lives.

Since joining the team, Rebecca has continued to build her expertise and contribute to cases, developing a strong understanding of legal procedures and practical experience that supports her ongoing professional growth.
