Sultan joined GT Stewart Solicitors & Advocates in October 2020 and is a specialist Caseworker in the Prison Law Department.
He assists with a wide range of matters, including MCA recalls and recall hearings, pre-tariff parole reviews, MCA parole and parole hearings, removal from open conditions, Category A reviews, re-categorisation cases, judicial reviews, and adjudications before the Independent Adjudicator. Sultan also provides advice and assistance on other prison law matters on a pro bono basis.
Sultan has extensive knowledge of prison law and demonstrates a clear understanding of the issues involved in each particular case. He has an eye for detail and his advocacy is measured and concise.
Prior to joining GT Stewart Solicitors, Sultan worked as a Paralegal and Senior Adviser across various law firms and organisations. He has experience offering free, confidential, and impartial advice on a wide range of legal issues including debt, money, housing, employment, consumer rights, as well as providing guidance on benefits, immigration and other legal matters.
