Phoebe joined the Family & Childcare department at GT Stewart in December 2024 and is part of the Kent team based at the Canterbury office.

Phoebe specialises in representing parents at all stages of public law proceedings involving the including pre-proceedings, care proceedings, adoption and special guardianship orders. She also has experience in representing parents and carers in private law Children Act proceedings at all stages including child arrangement orders (residence and contact) and Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issue Orders.

Phoebe is experienced in representing vulnerable clients, including those with learning difficulties and disabilities, parents and carers that are incarcerated, those with mental health diagnosis and neurodivergent clients. She has represented parents and carers in cases who face the most serious of allegation in the family courts concerning Non-Accidental Injuries and sexual abuse.

Phoebe also gives her time to assist and advise members of the community pro-bono to enable and support survivors of domestic abuse access legal advice. She is involved in a monthly One Stop Shop service for a local domestic abuse charity; this work is to provide advice to those affected by domestic abuse who seek advice on protective orders available through the courts under the Family Law Act including Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders and/or in relation to contact/resident disputes.
