Kristina is a paralegal in the Family and Childcare department assisting in a wide array of family law matters such as representation in Care Proceedings, special guardianship, adoption, and Private Child Matters.
As part of this Kristina frequently works with a variety of client including, children, vulnerable adults with learning difficulties and disabilities, incarcerated parents and parents and other family members faced with extremely serious allegations.
Kristina began with the GT Stewart in July 2024 and works concurrently with her studies for her Integrates Masters (MLaw) in Advanced Legal Practice at the University of Kent. The University works in partnership with GT Stewart to provide Paralegal Work placements that are suited to the teaching schedule and provide students with essential Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) needed for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination.
Simultaneously, with both her work at the firm and her studies, Kristina also works for the University of Kent as a Targeted Outreach Ambassador where she works with professionals and care-experienced young people to help support their journey into Higher Education.
Kristina’s ambition is to qualify as a solicitor specialising in Public Family Law.
