Katie studied Law at Birmingham City University. Katie also completed the LPC at Birmingham City University, graduating with a Merit. She enjoys going to the gym and travelling with family and friends.
Katie represented parents, and other family members in cases that include:

- Re A – representation of a mother in relocation proceedings. A successful outcome with the Client obtaining an Order for the child to be relocated with her in USA.
- Re B – representation of a mother in complex private law children proceedings which involved serious domestic abuse allegations.
- Re C – representation of grandparents in private law proceedings. A successful outcome for the clients, with the child remaining with their grandparents.
- Re D – representation of a mother in public law proceedings involving allegations of non-accidental injuries.
- Re E – representation of a mother in public law proceedings involving allegations of domestic abuse.
