Jessica Smith joined the Prison Law department at GT Stewart in 2025. She previously volunteered at the University of Kent’s Law Clinic, where she supported with various Family Law cases. She also completed a two-week placement at the London Inner South Coroner’s Court, assisting with ongoing inquests.

Through these experiences, Jessica has developed a strong interest in Family Law, Mental Health Law, and Criminal Law. She is deeply committed to helping others and recognises the importance of advocating for vulnerable individuals. Jessica aspires to qualify as a Solicitor, though she remains open to exploring which area of law she will ultimately pursue.

Notable experiences or interests outside of Law

Outside of law, Jessica enjoys attending Pilates classes, spending time with friends, and reading. She has also recently begun learning British Sign Language.
