Profile

Prior to joining GT Stewart, Amber worked in a silver circle law firm where she gained extensive knowledge in various sectors of law including family, property, and employment. Amber then moved onto her next role as a family paralegal where she obtained invaluable experience in child proceedings and care, divorce disputes and surrogacy matters as well as domestic violence and non-accidental injury.

Additionally, Amber works part-time in a supervised Contact Centre helping families and young adults through their most difficult times involving their children. This has amplified Amber’s desire to pursue a career in law as she is able to look out for the child’s best interests as well as give practical and sound guidance during emotional times.

At Gt Stewart, Amber has experience working with clients who suffer with learning difficulties and disabilities as well as vulnerable clients and young adults. Moreover, Amber works alongside parents and carers of those whose children are subject to Local Authority involvement.

Amber has a particular interest in working with Children’s Guardians during care proceedings to ensure that the child’s wishes and feelings are paramount. In parallel, Amber is passionate and dedicated about assuring every child’s rights are safeguarded and protected.

Amber deals with cases that include:

  • Public Law Family Proceedings:
