We’re delighted to welcome Jack Straker-Humphreys as Head of Family in our Leeds office.
Jack brings over ten years of experience in Family Law with a particular focus on Public Law Children Act proceedings. He represents both parents and children in complex and sensitive cases, advising and acting in matters under the Children Act 1989 and the Family Law Act 1996, including applications for a wide range of orders. He has been a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel since 2017.
Over the course of his career, Jack has also developed broader experience across divorce and financial proceedings, housing law, possession claims and drafting wills. This well-rounded background gives him a strong understanding of the wider challenges that can sit alongside care proceedings.
Jack is committed to protecting his clients’ rights at some of the most difficult moments in their lives. We’re thrilled to have him leading our Family team in Leeds and look forward to the impact he will make.
