GTS today secured verdicts of not guilty for a client charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm with intent.
PS stood trial alongside his brother at Croydon Court. They were alleged to have attempted to kill the complainant by shooting him to the abdomen with a sawn-off shotgun.
PS strongly denied the allegation. It was his case the complainant in fact made threats with the shotgun and the firearm discharged accidentally when his brother attempted to disarm him.
Following a trial lasting 11 days, the jury returned verdicts of not guilty in relation to all counts.
