We are pleased to share that Deepti Parmar, Specialist Caseworker in our Mental Health Department, will be beginning her Solicitor Apprenticeship with GT Stewart Solicitors!
Deepti is an accredited member of the Law Society Mental Health Tribunal Panel. She predominantly works on criminal/restricted cases under the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended by the 2007 Act) where clients are detained in either a Forensic High or Medium Secure setting, assisting them in their care and treatment pathway.
Deepti has extensive experience in dealing with clients with complex care needs and those who have a dual diagnosis and personality disorders. She will continue to maintain her caseload while completing the long-form Solicitor Apprenticeship, which takes around 18-35 months to complete, followed by a period for final assessment.
At GT Stewart, we are proud to champion internal career development. Our Solicitor Apprenticeship programme provides a structured route to qualification, enabling individuals to develop their legal careers while continuing to gain practical experience. Deepti’s progression is a reflection of her hard work and the firm’s commitment to supporting and growing talent from within.
We wish Deepti every success as she takes this next step in her career.
