Sophie Smith represented a client at Croydon Magistrates Court on Wednesday 15th December, who was granted bail following allegations of two assaults on his partner and damaging her phone. The CPS appealed the grant of bail to the Crown Court and Sophie appeared before the Court on 17th December 2021, when the appeal was withdrawn by the CPS meaning the client would be released from custody straightaway – just in time for Christmas!
