Ryan Booth, assisted by Ashley Smith & Harriet George represented a father in care proceedings where through proper cross examination of court appointed experts, the Court was able to conclude looking at the wider canvas evidence, that the baby’s injuries were not NAI. This demonstrates the necessity for proper and rigorous cross examination in Court by trained lawyers in child protection and to ensure that we have Part 25 experts appointed which can be the subject of proper challenge in Court.
